Norco
Ranch, Inc. is a totally integrated egg company, consisting of pullet
production, feed mill, automated egg ranches, and a modern, efficient
80, 000 case per week USDA egg grading and an in-house egg breaking facility.
We currently have under our control nearly 8,000,000 laying hens in order
to supply the needs of our customers. Norco Ranch has been serving the
Southern California marketplace with eggs for the last thirty-five years.
Route Loading
Norco “route loads” customer trailers and delivers them to
specified drop-points for further distribution by the customer.
Pre-Palletized Shipments
Norco will palletize egg orders by units, for ease in handling through
major warehouses. We also deliver direct pre-palletized to order.
Seven Day Week
Norco operates for customer shipping and pick-ups every day year round.
Quality
Control
Initiated at our ranch and carried through the grading process on the
store level. Norco has 11 people whose job is quality control.
Equipment
Norco has over 100 pieces of rolling stock and is an industry leader in
egg processing automation.
Point of Sale Promotion
Norco is able to provide point-of-sale personnel to monitor any in-unit
promotions. Our expertise has made Norco the preferred supplier to handle
store openings.
Communication
Norco has been using “computer to computer” communication
with customers for several years.
Refrigerated
Shipping Docks
Time and temperature are the major factors in egg quality. Shipping from
refrigerated docks help maintain quality.
Sales Information
Norco supplies computerized information by: Size, grade, brand, store
warehouse, etc. on a weekly basis.
